Today, is a global day of giving!
We are working to ensure a healthy future for Shenandoah National Park and hope this day will inspire everyone to give in ways that feel attainable and sustainable right now. Here are a few ways you can participate alongside us for Give Local Piedmont during #givingtuesdaynow:
_
Give Time:
Perhaps write a postcard to your park rangers who work so hard in these times to make sure our park is beautiful when we return. Please address your postcard/envelope to: Shenandoah National Park, 3655 US Highway 211 East, Luray, VA 22835.
Give Talent:
Are you a local photographer, painter, or naturalist? We’re building a network of creators who are deeply connected with Shenandoah. Get in touch to collaborate! We’d LOVE to feature your stories, so make sure to tag us in your posts: #togethershenandoah #supportsnpt
Give Support:
Non-profits like Shenandoah National Park Trust ensure a healthy re-opening of our park and its programming. Consider a gift this Tuesday, May 5 during Give Local Piedmont (AND, if you give between 12-1PM, we’re aiming for a “Power Hour” bonus prize if we receive the most unique donations of $10 and above… that could be you!). You can also donate early up until May 5.
Trustees from our local community have issued a match to DOUBLE the impact of your donation.
We all need help in different ways. And there are many ways to give.
