Here at the Shenandoah National Park Trust, we’re in the protection business. We want what’s best for Shenandoah National Park and its employees, surrounding communities and wildlife.
Although Shenandoah National Park is currently open, we want to be sensitive to gateway and rural communities surrounding the park that have limited access to medical care, in light of the current public health issues surrounding the spread of COVID-19.
Outdoor recreation is crucial for staying physically and mentally healthy, yet we need to be vigilant in these times to protect vulnerable communities. Information about park operations may shift in the coming days and weeks.
Please continue to support the projects and people of Shenandoah National Park by donating here.
