Shenandoah’s 2017 Artist in Residence: Kevin Adams

On Friday, June, 2, Shenandoah National Park announced the selection of the 2017 Artist-in-Residence: visual artist Kevin Adams of Washington, Virginia. Kevin is a former United States Marine Corps officer and combat artist, and has since worked as a studio artist, displaying his work  in galleries in Washington and Middleburg, Virginia, and Provincetown, Massachusetts. Kevin’s work often features rural and natural landscapes, and he’s a long-time supporter of Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah National Park Trust. Click here to learn more about Kevin’s work and the June dates he will be working in the park and talking with visitors.
